- Grand Design Debuts Next-Generation Solitude Fifth-Wheel Trailers: The Solitude fifth-wheel trailer has been a mainstay in the Grand Design lineup since the company first burst onto the scene over a decade ago. This week, that iconic camper got some serious upgrades, including fully redesigned floor plans, a refreshed interior, and other important enhancements. New to the lineup are the 394RO and 320RK models, which are rear office and rear kitchen layouts, respectively. New features include a completely reengineered frame, a more durable fiberglass roof, a standard king bed in all models, three 18K BTU ducted A/C units, and 600W solar with a 2000W inverter. Check out all the details on the Grand Design website.

- Gear Patrol Checks Out the Pause Roamer X: The burly and off-road-ready Pause Roamer X is an interesting travel trailer, packing a ton of features into a relatively small form factor. The rig includes such luxury items as a dishwasher, a fireplace, and a rear deck, yet is still capable of going off-grid in very remote locations. That’s helped by a 2.16Ah lithium battery and 3160W of solar, not to mention a MORryde air suspension and all-terrain tires. It doesn’t come cheap, though, with pricing starting at just under $200k. This week, Gear Patrol took an inside look at this intriguing overlanding towable.

- Palomino Rolls Out HS-600 Truck Camper: Innovation in the truck camper space continues apace, with Palomino showing off its new Backpack HS-600 model this week. The new rig is the lightest hard-side model in the company’s lineup, tipping the scales at a mere 1641 lbs. It comes standard with 400W of solar, a 100Ah lithium battery, a queen bed, and a cozy dinette. Truck Camper Magazine has the full scoop here.

- New Study Reveals How Long It Takes to Sell an RV: Ever wonder how long an RV has been sitting on the dealer’s lot? A new study from National Vehicle offers some insights. The online RV sales company monitored 10,991 RV listings and 5,174 confirmed customer sales over a two-year period from October 2024 through September 2026 and determined that the average selling time sits at about 69 days. Unsurprisingly, different types of RVs sold at different rates, with Class B vans and Class C coaches selling within 60 and 61 days, respectively. Meanwhile, fifth-wheels hit the exact 69-day average, while travel trailers crept up to 74 days and Class A motorhomes took 80 days on average to find a buyer.
